Mozido Brings mPay To 150M Deutsche Telekom Customers

Mozido, a digital payment and commerce solution provider, announced today (Nov. 5) it was selected to power features of a new mobile wallet from Telekom Germany.

The German company announced the launch of Deutsche Telekom AG’s MyWallet 2.0, which is its new generation mobile wallet. This solution will include mobile payments, as well as advertising and loyalty services that will be enabled through Mozido.

MyWallet 2.0 provides consumers with a new way to pay and use NFC technology that enables payments through the MyWallet app. Through Mozido’s SaaS platform, the mobile wallet will also enable those consumers to participate in customer engagement campaigns, redeem offers and manage their digital loyalty cards — all from their smartphone.

“We are excited to have been selected by Deutsche Telekom, one of the largest Mobile Network Operators to provide advertising and loyalty services,” said Michael Liberty, founder of Mozido. “The MyWallet suite of services leverages the latest digital wallet technology, allowing subscribers access to today’s most popular mobile payment features and reinforces our leadership in deploying customer engagement solutions worldwide.”

What Mozido’s platform provides is the aggregation and issuance of content, which includes coupons, loyalty, and advertising campaigns. This also streamlines the payment path in mobile wallet apps that use Mozido’s Software Development Kit. The platform is available globally to leading merchants, mobile network operators, ticketing service providers, and financial institutions to enable NFC and non-NFC payment services.
