The CrowdStrike Falcon platform is designed to secure agentic enterprises, according to the company’s website.

One company CrowdStrike intends to acquire is Fiddler, whose pre-deployment evaluation and continuous behavioral monitoring will become part of the CrowdStrike Falcon platform and will help ensure enterprise AI agents act as intended, CrowdStrike said in a blog post.

“AI observability provides a lens into agent behavior before and after they ship,” CrowdStrike President Michael Sentonas said in the post. “AI explainability shows why agents made their decisions and where their actions may have gone awry. Fiddler delivers both.”

CrowdStrike signed a definitive agreement to acquire Fiddler and expects the proposed transaction to close during its fourth quarter of fiscal year 2027, subject to customary closing conditions, the company said in a Tuesday press release.

The other company CrowdStrike intends to acquire, Dreadnode, provides automated AI security testing that enables companies to validate the security of AI systems before they go into product. When added to the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, this will allow customers to deploy AI agents with confidence, CrowdStrike said in another Tuesday blog post.

“Businesses are integrating AI models, agents and applications into daily operations faster than security teams can validate them,” Sentonas said in the post. “Traditional software security testing isn’t built to capture the risks these technologies can present. With Dreadnode, CrowdStrike will extend the Falcon platform to give enterprises a fast, repeatable way to test their AI systems before they’re deployed.”

CrowdStrike signed a definitive agreement to acquire Dreadnode and expects the proposed transaction to close during its fourth quarter of fiscal year 2027, subject to customary closing conditions, the company said in a Tuesday press release.

The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday that CrowdStrike will pay about $400 million for Fiddler and about $95 million for Dreadnode.

CrowdStrike announced in June that it added a new security control plane for AI agents that provides continuous, risk-aware enforcement. This Continuous Identity for AI agents, which joined the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, authorizes every agent action based on who owns it, who is calling it and real-time risk, the company said.
