Anthropic is rolling out “one Claude” on Pro and Max plans over the next few weeks; will extend it to Team and Free plans soon; and will expand it to Enterprise plans after notifying the plans’ administrators at least 30 days ahead of the change, according to the post.
In addition, Anthropic has launched Claude Docs, which helps users write documents; has launched Claude Slides, which drafts the slides for a presentation; and has made Claude Design work inside the user’s conversations. These offerings are in beta on paid plans. For those who use Claude Design on its own, it will continue working as before, per the post.

Anthropic is bringing Cowork and Design into “one Claude” because people who used both tools said that it was difficult to decide where a task belonged and because projects they started in one tool wouldn’t carry over to another, according to the post.
“So we stopped making you choose,” Anthropic said in the post. “Claude can now figure out what a task needs, so what Cowork and Design can do is available from any conversation, with the context, skills and connectors you already have.”
It was reported in June that OpenAI was overhauling its ChatGPT into a super app by bundling AI agents, coding tools and third-party services into a single platform.
Thibault Sottiaux, who oversees all of OpenAI’s core products and platforms, said at the time that the AI startup wants to build “your own personal agent that is capable of helping you across everything in your life, be it personally or at work.”
OpenAI announced in July that it had begun rolling out a new agent in ChatGPT that is designed for work that is more complex than a typical chat request. The company said ChatGPT Work can take action across the user’s apps and files; can spend hours on a project, if needed; and can produce sheets, slides, docs, web apps and other finished materials.
