Originally founded as CloudBusiness in 2016, when it was focused on accounting automation and finance management for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), the company has since pivoted to helping commerce companies shift to omnichannel sales.

Customer data platform Sensibill has partnered with cloud accounting software provider FreeAgent to help businesses manage their business expenses like receipts, according to a press release.

The companies are looking to help small businesses automate and organize their finances, accounting and taxes, the release stated.

Through the use of Sensibill’s technology within the FreeAgent solution, the Auto Extract technology can be used to capture, organize and categorize receipts and attach them to corresponding bank transactions, according to the release.

Plate IQ Teams With Foodbuy Foodservice On Rebates

Food service procurement and supply chain company Foodbuy Foodservice has announced a partnership with hospitality-focused accounts payable (AP) automation and expense management company Plate IQ, according to a Thursday (Aug. 26) press release.

Plate IQ customers will now get manufacturer rebates on restaurant supplies because of the Foodbuy Foodservice Manufacturer Rebate Program, according to the release.
