JAGGAER Integrates Amazon Business Into Its eProcurement Search Results

JAGGAER has integrated Amazon Business into the search results of JAGGAER eProcurement.

This single search functionality makes it easier for B2B buyers to view and compare items and prices from Amazon Business within JAGGAER eProcurement, the company said in a Monday (Feb. 6) press release.

“By creating a single search experience within our platform for one of JAGGAER’s most popular suppliers, we’re streamlining the shopping experience for buyers and giving them access to a greater selection of products at very competitive prices,” JAGGAER Chief Product Officer Dawn Andre said in the release.

PYMNTS research has found that B2B buyers that have taken to online commerce now have higher expectations for their customer service and the terms they receive from their vendors.

For example, 69% of B2B buyers want their partners to provide novel ways for them to access products and services, according to the “Global B2B Payments Playbook,” a PYMNTS and Worldpay collaboration.

In addition, 85% of B2B buyers value a positive experience with their partners as much as their products and services, the report said.

The latest news from JAEGGER comes about eight months after the firm teamed up with B2B accounts receivable (AR) automation firm Billtrust to help suppliers access automated invoicing.

The idea behind that partnership is to help businesses cut down on manual work and lower administrative costs, as Billtrust allows suppliers to click a button in their financial system to send an invoice to a buyer without any manual work.

With the new enhancements to the search functionality of JAEGGER eProcurement, B2B buyers can view, filter and compare prices of products, use smart filters to improve the Amazon Business search results and have a shopping experience that is similar to the one they have in their personal lives, according to the press release.

While providing this shopping experience, JAEGGER eProcurement also automates adherence to customer procurement policies, the release said.

“Delivering a frictionless and comprehensive commerce experience is at the heart of JAGGAER’s Autonomous Commerce strategy,” Andre said in the release. “The new Amazon Business Integrated Search capabilities are the latest development in that broader effort.”
