The company’s Coupa Pay solution concluded the first half with a 58% year-over-year increase in transaction growth. This solution also saw a 69% compounded annual growth rate over the last three years, according to the release.
“This milestone is a testament to our world-class product, durable operations and strong cross-functional execution,” Bill Wardwell, senior vice president and general manager of Coupa Pay and Treasury, said in the release.
Coupa Card, a mobile virtual card solution embedded natively within Coupa Pay, saw its monthly users grow sixfold over the last six months and its transaction spend more than triple in each of the last two calendar quarters. Since its November 2025 launch, Coupa Card has facilitated about $50 million in total spend, the release said.
Coupa Card is powered by Mastercard’s global network. Rebecca Meeker, senior vice president of B2B partnerships and embedded finance at Mastercard, said in the release: “The momentum behind Coupa Card reflects a broader shift in how businesses want to pay and get paid: seamlessly, securely and within the workflows they already use every day.”
Coupa has also grown its artificial intelligence agent workforce to include more than 50 specialized Navi agents available across early access, limited availability or general availability. The most recently added agents target payment approval efficiency, working capital optimization and accounts payable execution, per the release.
“We’re building toward a future where the entire financial operations process is designed by humans but executed autonomously by agents, freeing finance teams from manual workflows,” Rajiv Ramachandran, Coupa chief product officer, I2P, said in the release.
Coupa announced in May that it expanded its agentic artificial intelligence ambitions by acquiring Tonkean, an AI-native intake and orchestration platform used by enterprise procurement, legal and internal service teams. The company said the deal strengthened its ability to offer “Agentic-as-a-Service” capabilities across its network of more than 3,500 buyers and 10 million suppliers.
Coupa said in August that its Payment Batch Creation Agent ran 14 payment batches on its own, covering 2,395 individual payments worth $20.1 million, in its first five weeks in production.
