Amazon Web Services Launches New Healthcare Cohort

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is introducing AWS Healthcare Accelerator, which will focus on health equity. The new program builds on the $40 million AWS Health Equity Initiative, a three-year global commitment to aid innovations in the space. Both solutions are part of AWS for Health, a collaboration between AWS services and AWS Partner Network solutions.

NFTs Being Used for Hotel, Resort Reservations

Available hotel rooms are being converted into nonfungible tokens (NFTs) to enable guests to buy and sell reservations similar to how concert tickets are resold on third-party operators like Stubhub. The move is intended to help hotel owners reduce excess inventory caused by last-minute cancellations while also giving guests flexibility.

FinTechs Get Zero-Fraud Guarantee for Inbound Digital Transfers

Stripe Apps Offer One-Stop Shop for Users, Allowing Developers to Broaden Reach

Stripe introduces Stripe Apps and the Stripe App Marketplace to create an inter-related hub for payments-related apps and also give developers a place to create and publish apps. The Stripe App Marketplace includes apps from DocuSign, Dropbox, Intercom, Mailchimp, Ramp and Xero with others being added.
