The Top 5
Still standing at No. 1 is Paychex Flex, followed as last time at No. 2 by the Paycor app, which just landed $270 million in new funding.
The Alliance MyPay app seems to like it at No. 3, as does Square Payroll at No. 4, adding context to talk of Square’s super-app ambitions.
Now for the big one: RUN Powered By ADP managed to leap up three whole chart positions in a single bound to land at No. 5 in the latest Provider Ranking of Payroll Apps. Impressive.
The Top 10
That big change in the Top 5 triggered more of the same, as the Zenefits app drops one spot to No. 6 in this ranking. Ditto for the TriNet app for SMBs, down one to No. 7.
Well-known QuickBooks Payroll likewise loses one chart position to land at No. 8 for this Provider Ranking of Payroll Apps, which wraps it up for the apps that made a move.
Still solid at No. 9 is the Rippling payroll and benefits administration app and, just below at No. 10 (but at a higher state of consciousness), the Payrollguru app.
