Reports Wednesday (July 22) announced the rollout of Sub-Contract Market’s website to help businesses find temporary work. According to the company, Sub-Contract Market offers businesses an affordable way to access the staff they need to expand.

“Our sub-contractor marketplace allows businesses to find the right company to provide the service that they require,” said a spokesperson for the firm. “A virtual team member is much more affordable than hiring someone full time.”

Businesses can advertise their need for temporary work on the site, where they can set a budget and get connected to other companies that can provide the services they need. Employees that join the site as a sub-contractor are all vetted, the company said.

According to Sub-Contract Market, the service offers three benefits: it costs less than hiring a full-time employee, it negates the need to provide these workers with equipment or office space, and businesses do not need to worry about employment taxes or pension with this type of hire.

“The Sub-Contractor Market platform has become an important tool for business owners,” the company said. “It provides them with a valuable source for when they require an experienced and vetted company to undertake the task they require.”
