Due to a new deal in which mobile payments platform Fortumo signed agreements with Telefonica and Telenor, 460 million new subscribers will be able to charge purchases to their mobile bills via the web, Android, Windows 8 and Windows Phones.
“Working with Fortumo will deliver to developers an easy-to-use interface for direct mobile payments, connecting to millions of customers globally,” Jose Valles, head of BlueVia at Telefónica Digital, said in a release.

Fortumo’s in-app purchasing is already used by major companies such as Gameloft, Popcap and Rovio, maker of the popular game “Angry Birds.”
