Cardtronics has grown its network of ATMs with the acquisition of merchant contracts from Automated Financial.
Cardtronics added 2,100 ATMs to its existing network, the company said in a Feb. 6 press release. This raises the network’s fleet to 66,400 ATMs.
“Delivering growth to Cardtronics’ Independent Merchant ATM business, as well as additional diversification to the company’s global ATM portfolio, the Automated Financial transaction also helped the company establish a sales and service office in Arizona. In recent years, acquisitions by Cardtronics have added regional hubs for the company in New Jersey, Minnesota, Oregon, California and now Arizona,” the company stated.
