Serial Entrepreneur Rithesh Menon Buys B2B Healthcare Platform Audiology Plus

Serial entrepreneur Rithesh Menon has acquired B2B healthcare digital marketing platform Audiology Plus

Menon said he looks to “grow and contribute to the expanding healthcare digital marketing space,” according to a Tuesday (Nov. 29) press release issued by FE International, the mergers & acquisitions (M&A) firm that served as the sole sell-side M&A adviser on the acquisition.

The Audiology Plus platform was launched in 2015 and is designed to help ear, nose and throat (ENT), audiology and other healthcare practitioners expand their businesses online, according to the release.

The firm’s offerings include website building, search engine optimization (SEO), online review management, social media marketing, eCommerce storefront and clinic visualization.

“It has been an amazing journey building Audiology Plus over the past seven years, but it was time to pass the baton,” Audiology Plus Co-founders Joseph Lugara and Veera Kasavan said in the release. “FE International was an invaluable asset in making this a reality. We couldn’t be happier with the turnout and look forward to seeing Audiology Plus reach new heights under the strong guidance of Rithesh Menon.”

PYMNTS research has found that consumers’ overall engagement across connected activities rose 1.2% in the second quarter — a small but significant step toward full digital potential.

This can be seen in findings that consumers who increased their use of digital tools to book travel or communicate digitally also engaged more with online retail, restaurant and grocery activities, for example, showing the knock-on effects that start happening when digital is in the doorway, according to the latest study in the ConnectedEconomy™ series, “How The World Does Digital: The Impact Of Payments On Digital Transformation.”
