Buy now, pay later (BNPL) platform Sezzle on Tuesday (Feb. 22) partnered with WellNow Urgent Care to bring flexible payment options into healthcare.

Sezzle’s interest-free solution is available at more than 100 WellNow clinics in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New York and Ohio. Thanks to the partnership with Sezzle, WellNow patients can get the healthcare they need right away, then pay their bills over time in four payments.

WellNow provides service for sprains, burns, colds and allergies, among other ailments, as well as on-site X-rays, lab testing and physicals. Patients can also talk to a WellNow provider virtually 24/7 through the Virtual Care platform.

“Our priority is to make healthcare more convenient, accessible, and affordable across the communities we serve, and this includes providing more financial options and flexibility,” John Radford, president at WellNow Urgent Care, said in the joint announcement.

“No one should ever delay care because they’re worried about their ability to pay at the time of service, so we’ve made it possible for them to pay in a way that works for them without the worry of interest fees,” he continued.

Sezzle users learn to budget responsibly, increase their buying power and build credit through the Sezzle Up feature, which allows them to report their payment history to credit bureaus and build their credit score. WellNow patients will now have the opportunity to get their healthcare needs met with the opportunity to build their credit.

Last month, Sezzle reported in its fourth quarter earnings that it had seen a 76% increase in active merchants year over year, with 47,000 merchants now making use of the BNPL platform.
