Volkswagen Integrates Comdata Mastercard for EV Fleet Management

Volkswagen is collaborating with payment processor and fleet fuel card issuer Comdata to enhance fleet management operations. Volkswagen will implement the Comdata Mastercard, designed to cover the needs of both electric vehicles (EVs) and fuel fleets. The card provides access to numerous charging and fueling stations, facilitates EV charging and offers actionable data.

Gopuff Expands BurgerFi Partnership to Take on Restaurant Aggregators

Digital, on-demand, convenience delivery service Gopuff is expanding its partnership with fast-casual brand BurgerFi from a pilot program in Tallahassee, Florida, to a national rollout. The tie-up, which launched in March, involves GoPuff preparing BurgerFi foods in its kitchens as any brick-and-mortar restaurant would prepare a licensed virtual brand’s meals.

Tillable Teams With Evergreen Bank to Expand Digital Farm Loans

Farmland resource and loan platform Tillable has teamed with Evergreen Bank to expand its lending program into seven new states. The company provides farmland mortgages, refinances, operating loans and rental financing with the goal of making owning or renting farmland simple and sustainable. The collaboration with Evergreen brings its offering to Tillable’s home state of Illinois, as well as Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Nebraska, Missouri and Arkansas.

Cabinets.com Shoppers Can Remodel Their Kitchens Fully Online With 3D Imaging Tech

Cabinets.com shoppers can now choose new kitchen cabinets from the comfort of their homes — or anywhere else, for that matter — thanks to a partnership with Dassault Systèmes that offers customers a cloud-based 3D design portal. Dassault Systèmes’ HomeByMe for Kitchen Retailers platform lets Cabinets.com customers choose from a selection of cabinets and design their kitchens online without having to visit a brick-and-mortar store.

Waitr Partners With Burq to Grow Delivery Capabilities

On-demand delivery app Waitr is working with software logistics delivery provider Burq to drive expansion as Waitr moves from a food-centric business to a wider “deliver anything” model. The agreement will let Waitr deliver products from a variety of retail sectors, including apparel, fashion, luxury and sporting goods. The collaboration with Burq lets Wait deliver from variety of retailers both large and small, including ethnic grocery stores selling mainly specialty products not usually found in mainstream supermarkets.

Mexico’s DEUNA Raises $30M to Expand eCommerce Services

Commerce operating system DEUNA has raised $30 million in a Series A funding round. The funding — which brings the company’s total financing to $37 million — will help DEUNA consolidate its presence in Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador and Chile; hire new talent; invest further in its products; and expand its user and customer base in Latin America. DEUNA’s operating system provides local merchants with a payments infrastructure that integrates with every major payments provider as well as alternative payment methods.
