Fiverr, Stride Health Partner to Enable Access to Affordable Healthcare

Stride - Fiverr

Israeli freelance platform Fiverr International Ltd. on Wednesday (Dec. 1) announced its collaboration with portable benefits platform Stride Health to give Fiverr members access to Stride’s suite of health, dental and vision insurance.

The companies will team up to raise awareness of America Rescue Plan-inspired subsidies and tax credits, and to educate Fiverr members about the healthcare available to them through Stride Health.

U.S.-based Fiverr customers named healthcare and affordability as two of the top four challenges facing Americans today in Fiverr’s Community Priorities survey in August. Stride’s data shows that 44% of its users enroll in Affordable Care Act health insurance plans that cost them less than $1 per month.

Stride will help Fiverr members find personalized health insurance plan recommendations, compile all of the government financial assistance available to them and help them get fully enrolled in the best plan for them.

“We strive to be the platform that provides freelancers with everything they need to live the freelance lifestyle, from earning potential and online learning opportunities to the ability to access social safety net protections like healthcare,” said Brent Messenger, VP of community and public policy at Fiverr, in the joint announcement.

“Access to affordable and portable healthcare benefits have never been more important,” he continued. “We’re incredibly excited to partner with Stride to raise awareness of the affordability of healthcare today and help our community of independent professionals obtain access through Stride’s platform.”

Fiverr community members will also have free, year-round access to Stride’s customer service team.

“We’re on a mission to help every independent worker get access to affordable benefits,” said Noah Lang, co-founder and CEO of Stride. “Health insurance has never been more affordable for more people, but not enough people know that. This partnership will help U.S.-based, self-employed professionals on Fiverr realize how affordable health insurance can be, help them find the best health coverage for their specific needs at the lowest possible price, and provide them with year-round support to get the most from their benefits.”
