Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA) asserted that President Obama would not put forth Elizabeth Warren as his nominee to head the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) in a recent interview with MSNBC.
Frank said he did not think Warren’s bid would be successful, given the current makeup of Congress, but that he hoped she would be nominated anyway.
