CashU Warns Middle East Users Of Malware, Virus Threats

CashU, an online payment provider, has told computer users in the Middle East to be aware of a possible increase in malware threats and virus attacks that have been occurring across the region, reports The Paypers. The malware disguises itself as reputable sources that will lock user computers and illegally request payments through CashU Dubai in order to unlock the screen. CashU has also warned individuals in the Middle East to remain vigilant and update antivirus and antimalware software to help keep computers safe from attacks. There have been documented attacks in Saudi Arabia, U.A.E. and Qatar amongst other areas in the Levant region.
