MasterCard And Gwen Stefani tout ‘Priceless Surprises’ with the Help of Apple Pay

Grammy Award-winner Gwen Stefani is teaming up with MasterCard to take over the Priceless Surprises launch to support cardholders every time they use their MasterCard, whether they chose to swipe their card or use Apple Pay.

The collaboration will promote memorable experiences and surprises for MasterCard holders and Gwen Stefani fans.

MasterCard will launch a 30-second TV spot featuring Stefani and her new song, “Spark the Fire.” In the spot, Stefani sends Priceless Surprises to members who use their MasterCard with Apple pay.

The card issuer indicates the Surprises will include everything from handbags to concert tickets and of course a chance to hang out with Gwen Stefani herself.

“I’m excited to be part of a collaboration that offers me the opportunity to connect and engage with fans through amazing surprises when they least expect it,” says Stefani. “MasterCard is a respected global brand and I look forward to working with them to bring something truly unique to fans.”

Sophie Muller of Wondros will direct the spot and notes that it will portray what the MasterCard platform is all about: surprising their customers with incredible prizes. MasterCard also encourages members to not only give but also share their own Priceless Surprises whether they’re paying with traditional plastic or Apple Pay.​
