Spreedly Teams With Visa For Network Tokenization In Latin America

Spreedly and Visa launched an effort to further and grow the adoption of network tokenization via Spreedly’s Payments Orchestration offering in Latin America. “Today, more than half of Visa’s payment credentials in Latin America and the Caribbean are token ready, giving consumers added peace of mind when buying online or via their favorite mobile wallets,” Ralph Koker, vice president of digital solutions for Visa Latin America and the Caribbean, said in a release.

Global Payments, Google Collaborate On Cloud-Based Payments

Global Payments Inc. and Google have made a partnership to offer cloud-based services and capabilities. Global Payments will migrate its merchant acquiring tech to Google Cloud and will supply Google with merchant acquiring services. Both will launch go-to-market and co-sell activities together.

HSBC has debuted virtual debit cards for United Arab Emirates (UAE) firms. Virtual debit cards from the financial institution operate on the Visa platform and create tokens, or single-use card numbers, for each transaction. Payment is debited directly from the current account of the corporate cardholder. Virtual debit cards add to the present collection of HSBC commercial cards like virtual credit cards.
