The new Agentic Analytics feature allows website owners to see what support AI agents do on their site and test whether those agents can complete tasks. This feature is meant to help website owners discover if they are losing customers because agents are unable to find a promotion or complete a checkout. It also includes simulation assessments that help website owners find these problems before customers do, according to the post.
Another new feature, which has been added to Brand Agents, helps retailers get their products discovered in Microsoft Copilot, Bing and MSN when shoppers ask Microsoft’s AI for recommendations. This feature has been added to the existing one that helps website owners bring an AI assistant to their website to help customers find and book services. Now, merchants can to use it on their website or only in AI experiences, the post said.
The third new feature, Ask Clarity, will enable website owners to ask Clarity questions about how people use their site and get answers that are backed by real session evidence. This feature is initially focused on website behavioral analytics and will later be expanded to include AI visibility and advertising data. Ask Clarity is in closed beta for retailers. Eighty-eight percent of early access users of this feature said it taught them something new about their business or website, per the post.
“We’re incredibly grateful for how far Clarity has come and for the millions of sites and apps that use it around the world,” Nabil Naghdy, lead product manager for Microsoft Clarity, said in the post. “What started as a way to understand how people use your website is evolving alongside the customer journey itself.”
The PYMNTS Intelligence report “Will the 2026 Shopping Season Go Agentic?“ found that nearly 132 million Americans have bought something with help from AI. The report found that while merchants expect agentic commerce to become a paid sales channel, many feel they are not prepared to connect with AI platforms or agent networks.
