Mars Teams With Instacart to Offer Same-Day Delivery

Mars, which makes a wide variety of products, has said its portfolio will be available for same-day delivery through Instacart, a press release said.

The partnership will offer convenience through adding Mars products like M&Ms, Snickers, Pedigree, IAMs and other such things to the Instacart catalog and be delivered via the company’s retail partners.

“At Mars we are consumer obsessed and know today’s savvy consumers are shopping on digital platforms like Instacart for choice, convenience, and time-saving benefits. Our innovative partnership with Instacart enables Mars to continue to reach consumers where they choose to shop,” said Kelly Goering, Vice President of Sales at Mars, “Offering our entire selection of Mars products on Instacart allows consumers to shop for the snacking and food brands their families and pets love most.”

Instacart’s senior director of brand partnerships Kasey Jamison said online shopping and same-day delivery are “critical for brands looking to accommodate consumers’ busy schedules.”

The release noted that Mars has introduced various new products lately like M&Ms Crunchy Cookie and Nutro So Simple.

Instacart has made other changes to its platform lately, including partnering with Eversight, a pricing and promotions platform for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands and retailers, PYMNTS wrote.

The acquisition will help brands and retailers add value and help consumers save more. Evernight’s AI-powered platform will let CPG companies test customized pricing and promotions with individual customers. It will help automate older manual processes.

“When it comes to grocery shopping, we know that every dollar matters,” Instacart CEO Fidji Simo said. “With higher inflation and the average cost of groceries up, we’re taking even more steps to make food and daily essentials more affordable.”

The Eversight CPG offerings will be part of the Instacart Ads product and tech suite, with retailers able to access Eversight tech through the Carrot Insights data dashboard.
