Blackhawk Network Brings Enterprise Edition Of eGifting Offering To Retailers

Blackhawk Network, a global branded payments provider, is rolling out the Enterprise Edition of its Digital Gifting offering to help retailers get ready for the busy holiday shopping season. The solution lets merchants have a digital gifting experience in operation in as quickly as two weeks — far ahead of the peak of that time, according to an announcement.

Blackhawk’s Enterprise Digital Gifting comes with every benefit that the firm’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution provides, along with quicker onboarding. Clients in the United States can presently harness the offering, “with plans to expand internationally to additional markets later this year,” the announcement stated.

The Enterprise Digital Gifting offering also includes features such as the ability to provide “great customer experiences through the branded, mobile-optimized platform,” according to the announcement. And it provides retailers quick onboarding and scalability upon becoming a part of Blackhawk’s global distribution network.

Moreover, the offering provides a fraud solution that comes with “superior order approval rates that convert more sales.” It also offers promotional functionalities such as “give one, get one” deals, among different kinds of consumer-focused promotions, the announcement stated.

“The eCommerce growth experienced over the last year has made it more important than ever to have an optimized eCommerce gift card program this holiday season,” said Blackhawk Network GVP of U.S. Digital Commerce and Loyalty Jennifer Philo in the announcement. “If you are a retailer that isn’t selling digital gift cards, you are missing out on revenue all year, but especially at holiday. The good news is our streamlined onboarding and expanded global access allows retailers to have a superior digital gifting program up and running fast.”

As PYMNTS reported in June, UNTUCKit is teaming with Blackhawk Network to grow its gift card program into grocery stores and shopping centers. To that end, Blackhawk will issue the apparel company’s tangible and electronic gift cards and distribute them to physical stores and online gift card malls. The firm will also handle customer service for the gift card effort.
