The rollout of the Shop with Friends feature will let members invite their friends to these sales. Every FabFitFun member will get three invitations that will let friends join them in the sale. After their friends join, they can look through and buy items from each other’s carts.
Shop with Friends is now available during the firm’s Summer Edit sale and will be accessible for some sales in the future.
“Shop with Friends reimagines the experience we used to have shopping in person at malls with our friends to online retail,” FabFitFun Co-Founder and Co-CEO Michael Broukhim said in the announcement. “Our e-commerce sales are one of our most popular and exciting member perks and now our members will be able to share that experience with their friends.”
In addition, FabFitFun plans to roll out its “FabFitFun Week” this month, from July 22 to July 26. The promotion event will offer days of discounts for members on all the categories of items that FabFitFun provides, which include home, electronics, wellness, fashion and beauty, among other areas.
FabFitFun, which was established in 2010, describes itself as a “lifestyle membership and shopping experience.” The company’s signature offering is the FabFitFun Box, which offers different full-size items throughout electronics, home, wellness, fitness, fashion and beauty every season.
The platform is adding over 125 livestreaming shopping programs, hosted by more than 115 influencers, brands and other “expert streamers” to give users 12 hours of live shopping daily.
“The launch of Livestream Shopping on the Verishop iOS app is our next step in seamlessly combining ways to discover, connect and shop in an engaging app designed for commerce,” according to an announcement.
