Travel App Provider Ranking Contenders Take a Staycation

Booking.com

There isn’t much movement in this month’s edition of PYMNTS’ Provider Ranking of Travel apps. The 11 apps that have earned a place in the top 10 were here last month too. What’s more, each was in the same position in the rankings.

There are a couple of sights you don’t want to miss, though. These include two top scorers that have each earned a perfect score of 100, and one mover and shaker that has added two points to its score since last time.

The Top Five

Tied for the top spot are the two apps that have each earned 100. Booking.com and Hopper shared this first-class seat last month too.

Also making a return trip is Airbnb. With a score of 98, it’s the runner-up and just two points behind the leaders.

Next up is Vrbo. With a score of 95, it maintains the No. 3 position it had last month.

There’s another frequent flyer at No. 4, as Skyscanner holds onto this spot with a score of 91.

At No. 5, Hotels.com has reserved its favorite room, staying here again with a score of 86.

The Top 10

Next up, KAYAK keeps pace with the rest of the field, retaining the No. 6 position with a score of 78.

Also holding the same spot in the ranking as last time is Kiwi.com, which is again ranked seventh, now with a score of 77. As that score is two points higher than last time, this app is this month’s biggest mover and shaker.

Similarly, TripAdvisor stays put at the eighth spot with a score of 74.

There’s another familiar name at No. 9, as AllTrails camps out here again with a score of 73.

Next up, sitting in the same seat as last time, is PriorityPass. With a score of 71, it closes out the top 10 in this month’s Provider Ranking of Travel apps. We hope you enjoyed your flight. See you next month.
