The new Agentic.Market currently includes services across inference, data, media, search, social, infrastructure and trading, the company said in a Sunday (April 19) press release.
The marketplace is designed to meet the need for a single, trusted discovery surface for services related to the agentic economy, according to the release.
“We think the best version of this is one that feels like a public utility — a neutral hub where the entire x402 ecosystem shows up and expands every day,” Coinbase said in the release. “That’s what we’re building toward.”
Coinbase introduced x402 as an open standard in May, saying x402 is designed to streamline internet-native stablecoin payments so that developers and AI agents can pay for APIs, services and software directly with stablecoins over HTTP.
On April 2, the x402 protocol moved to the Linux Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on open source. The foundation launched the x402 Foundation, which will serve as the neutral home for x402 and as the governing body for the standard.

According to the Sunday press release, the x402 ecosystem has enabled 165,000 transactions, $50 million in volume and 480,000 agents transacting across the protocol.
The new Agentic.Market is designed to serve builders, providers, agents and enterprises by providing them with skills for navigating the agentic economy, semantic search of services, live metrics pulled from real transaction data, and service profiles, the release said.
“Services are indexed automatically,” Coinbase said in the release. “When the CDP Facilitator processes a payment on an endpoint with the Bazaar discovery extension enabled, it extracts metadata and indexes the resource, with no separate registration step required. Curated services are enriched with human-readable metadata and sort above the rest.”
The PYMNTS Intelligence report “How Acquirers Prepare for Agentic Commerce” found that nearly 80% of surveyed acquirers said they are at least somewhat prepared to support seamless omnichannel shopping experiences, a prerequisite for any system in which autonomous agents transact across digital and physical environments.
