Bank of America, JPMorgan, and Wells Fargo have initiated the national launch of clearXchange, a platform that facilitates mobile and online P2P money transfers using just an email address or phone number.
The program was announced in May of last year, Finextra reports, and recently completed a one-month trial run in Arizona. Wells Fargo is the first company to launch the service nationally, Finextra says, and is referring to the service as “Send and Receive Money.”
