    Of the 450 tech companies that made such venture-backed deals, 16 percent were in eCommerce, according to a report in E-Commerce Insider, which cited the data.

    Zulily, a deals site for mothers, accounted for one of the biggest such deals, going public with a $2.6 billion valuation, the report said.
