Russian Standard Bank, Mobile TeleSystems and MasterCard international payment system have presented NFC SIM cards, which allow making one-touch payments for purchases and services using Mobile MasterCard PayPass® technology in 700k locations in 51 countries. The use of Russian Standard Bank NFC MasterCard card requires a phone carrying NFC technology support.
“NFC cards are a new milestone of cashless payments development and we’re happy that no one but Russian Standard Bank, traditionally, acts as the credit cards innovation pioneer in Russia, as has been the experience for many years,” noted Selim Ergoz, Executive Director, Credit Card Business, Russian Standard Bank.
