Moda Operandi, the online luxury fashion retailer has teamed up with marketing technology company Curalate to offer remote checkout via Amazon Pay from Moda Operandi’s Like2Buy shoppable social gallery on Instagram.
According to a press release, the collaboration will provide a more seamless path to purchase for consumers who find products on Moda Operandi’s Instagram account.
“We are committed to providing our clients with the best shopping experience possible, no matter how they prefer to shop,” said Moda Operandi, CTO Keiron McCammon. “We know our client is engaging with us on mobile for content and more recently, shopping.”
Customers can easily purchase the products they see on Moda Operandi’s Like2Buy gallery on Instagram by clicking the Amazon Pay button and then use their Amazon account information to complete mobile payment and shipping. Moda Operandi is among the first retailers to gain access to this remote-checkout functionality on Instagram.
Moda Operandi and Amazon Pay collaborated previously, having introduced Amazon Pay on Moda Operandi’s website and trunk shows in April 2016.
