Card Fraud Falls, Online Fraud Stays High In Europe

The European Central Bank announced that ATM and point of sale-based fraud are falling across Europe, reported Finextra. Bank officials claim the decreased card crime is largely due to technological improvements such as EMV Chip & PIN. However, it was also reported that online fraud activity remained extremely high according to figures.
