Ireland-based social marketing startup Betapond says it has raised roughly $2.5 million in new capital, TechCrunch reports.
The funding round was led by The Ulster Bank Diageo Venture Fund, and included previous investors Delta Partners and Irrus Investments, bringing the company’s total fundraising to just over $4.5 million.

According to the media outlet, the money will be used to help it complete development of its social commerce offering for retailers, which it says has been closely guarded while under development.
