The Apple Watch has secured yet another corporate finance tool. This time, its small business cloud-based accounting firm Xero is harnessing wearable technology for its corporate customers.

In an announcement Monday (Nov. 23), Xero announced that its Apple Watch app has made its debut. The service provides notifications and alerts on the device for business users that are frequently traveling and on the move, Xero said.

Users can gain notifications on their Apple Watch alerting them to when transactions have arrived, and providing them with an overview of their corporate balance sheets. The app also allows users to gain a visual across all of their bank accounts and be alerted when outstanding invoices have been paid.

Xero’s app for Apple Watch rolled out while the company also upgraded its app for iPhone 6s and 6s plus, meaning the tool now supports Apple’s 3D Touch feature. Doing so, Xero said, enables users to seamlessly toggle between invoices from their home screens, among other tasks.

In a statement, the company’s CEO Rod Drury said the integration with 3D Touch and the Apple Watch is “turning consumer technology into a vital tool for business owners, connecting them to the pulse of their business and allowing them to be more responsive to their customers.”

Xero isn’t the first company to launch an enterprise financial service app for the Apple Watch. Earlier this year PRO Unlimited launched its own B2B service scaled for the wearable device, while travel and expense management firm Serko provided its own Apple Watch-compatible app for businesses. Similarly, Coupa Software released its own Apple Watch tool earlier this year for companies to gain real-time visibility into expenses.
