B2B buy now, pay later (BNPL) solution Credit Key has teamed up with software company Miva to bring its BNPL solutions to the Miva eCommerce platform.

According to a Thursday (June 2) news release, the partnership lets vendors that use Miva’s eCommerce platform offer Credit Key’s custom financing options directly with no added cost.

Customers can receive instant approval for a line of credit and choose from a variety of payment plans of up to 12 months. The process takes minutes, Credit Key said, occurring within the customer’s cart without the need to leave the vendor’s website.

“Joining forces with Miva as a leading provider in the eCommerce space makes sense as we continue to expand our capabilities and network of top-tier partners,” Credit Key Director of Partnerships and Alliances Nick Cornell said in the release. “In today’s competitive eCommerce landscape, offering flexible payments can set vendors apart, and we are proud to help further elevate the B2B customer experience.”

Added Brennan Heyde, vice president of product at Miva: “We chose Credit Key as a payments partner because of its best-in-class point of sale credit management solutions focused on the B2B market, including pre-approval and instant decisions.”

In other B2B eCommerce news Thursday, Montreal-based commerce platform Lightspeed launched a B2B platform for fashion, outdoor, and sports retailers.

The company says its platform will bring together brands and retailers with a supplier network tool that integrates B2B orders into the point of sale (POS). It’s the result of integrating technology from NuORDER, a B2B eCommerce platform Lightspeed purchased for $425 million in November of last year.

The company says B2B platform includes several brands, such as Tom Ford, Coach, Theory, Black Diamond and Outdoor Voices, and lets retailers order directly from brands in the Lightspeed Commerce platform.
