Vantiv Finds ‘O.N.E.’ Way To Aid Developers

Vantiv launched its all-in-one developer network on Monday (July 25) to help foster smarter, easier and faster payments integration.

The Vantiv O.N.E., One Network Experience, is a single destination for developers for integrating payments into their applications for mobile, in-store and online processing. The new developer network provides integration tools, personalized payments guidance and a community of developers.

“The rapid pace of change in payments has resulted in increasing complexities for developers, inhibiting speed to market and innovation,” Jordan McKee, senior analyst of payments at 451 Research, explained. “Vantiv O.N.E. is well-positioned to help developers address their evolving commerce needs by streamlining payment integration through centralized and scalable omnichannel payment processing resources.”

Vantiv O.N.E. includes three value-added features: TechTools, TechLift and TechTribe.

TechTools is a suite of integration tools, including Vantiv’s APIs, sample code, dev sandboxes and test environments. TechLift provides developers on the network with guidance and hands-on help to help foster personalized payments. TechTribe is the community of developers, where participants can connect to share experiences and solutions with fellow developers.

“Vantiv helps minimize the complexity of payment integration,” Viren Balar, cofounder and CTO at Ziosk, said. “At a single destination, Vantiv O.N.E., our developers can access the resources to integrate existing and emerging payment methods, support for our Ziosk device and support for any channel in all the popular coding languages. It’s truly a comprehensive solution powered by an open-ecosystem approach that is unique to Vantiv.”

Access to Vantiv’s new network is free and open to developers across an array of payments sectors, such as enterprise businesses, eCommerce, integrated payments, mobile, point of sale and payment facilitators.

“The demand for sophisticated and seamless, integrated payments applications for online, in-store and mobile solutions is increasing at a substantial rate,” Matt Taylor, group president of integrated payments and emerging channels at Vantiv, explained. “Vantiv O.N.E. provides a payment integration experience to software developers that can help them solve even the most complex challenges the market is facing.”
