Adore Me, the online lingerie retailer that sells monthly subscriptions to bra and panty sets, recently announced that it will be selling its products in five Nordstrom stores in California, Colorado, New Jersey and Washington state.

Adore Me will also now be selling its lingerie on Nordstrom.com, the company announced.

“Partnering with Nordstrom is part of Adore Me’s growth strategy, which started with the opening of the first Adore Me showroom in our headquarters in NYC,” Adore Me founder and CEO Morgan Hermand-Waiche said in a statement. “Nordstrom is a great fit in establishing Adore Me’s credibility in the fashion industry.”

Adore Me launched a pop-up store followed by a showroom in Manhattan earlier this year, but the shift to making their products available in more brick-and-mortar stores like Nordstrom doesn’t mean the company plans to abandon its emphasis on eCommerce anytime soon, Sharon Klapka, vice president of business and brand development for Adore Me, told the New York Business Journal in a recent phone interview.

“It’s not a shift in strategy, our DNA remains online,” Klapka said. “Part of the strategy from Day 1 was to revolutionize the lingerie market. We will be increasing the brand reach, and growing the brand audience. We see it as a complimentary.”
