Bed Bath & Beyond has bolstered its same-day delivery services domestically via a collaboration with DoorDash. The latter company’s white-label fulfillment platform, DoorDash Drive, will fuel same-day delivery, according to the Wednesday (May 26) announcement.

Bed Bath & Beyond Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Officer Rafeh Masood said in the announcement that the retailer is executing on its “strategy to being an omni-always retailer to provide customers with the convenience of Buy-Online-Pickup-In-Store, contactless Curbside Pickup, and multiple Same Day Delivery options.”

The websites of Bed Bath & Beyond and buybuy BABY will extend same-day delivery to in excess of 3,000 more ZIP codes throughout the nation by the way of DoorDash Drive. As a result of the further coverage, same-day delivery is now available in virtually every store location and provides shoppers with the convenience to use multiple delivery choices.

To use the same-day delivery service, shoppers can visit the websites of Bed Bath & Beyond and buybuy BABY and select the choice for same-day delivery at checkout. After the order is made, a “Dasher” will retrieve the products at a local store and bring them to the residence of a shopper through contactless delivery.

Moreover, shoppers can now make an order hours prior to closing and still get it the same day while tracking packages in real time.
