FourQ Launches Video Series On Intercompany Financial Management

FourQ is introducing a series of 20-minute videos aimed at the intercompany space and featuring intercompany and shared services trailblazers, per a Monday (July 26) report.

Each episode of Intercompany Financial Management (IFM) Insights features an interview with an intercompany leader about what the work entails as well as the perceptions, challenges and predictions for the sector. Guests will use their personal industry experiences as a way to assist executives in the space with developing their careers and enhancing their programs.

“I’ve been in the intercompany space for most of my career. Getting inside the brains of innovative and even legendary intercompany and shared services leaders will provide invaluable learnings to viewers,” FourQ Co-founder and CEO Varun Tejpal said in the report.b2b

Tejpal added that in the coming months the series will feature an “impressive line-up” of industry experts.

Upcoming guests on FourQ’s IFM Insights include Paul Davies, head of People Operations at General Electric and Matt Glithero, partner at Modern Industrial, per a FourQ blog post.

FourQ said its intercompany financial management software was developed by industry masters in finance, accounting and taxes and simplifies the international operations for some of the biggest companies across the map. Its platform offers automated intercompany processing that easily integrates with invoice management for vendors worldwide.

The software is intended to boost productivity and save money as a result of “improved intercompany billing and payment and tax optimization,” according to the report. The company indicated that it processes in excess of $34 billion every year in 110 countries.

“One key differentiator for us over the past 12 months is that we have realigned our focus to be problem solvers instead of software sellers,” Tejpal said on the company’s website.

Frictions in B2B payments — particularly cross-border — is an area being eyed in the corporate FinTech space. Most of the solutions, however, target the movement of money from one firm to another.

But multinational corporations should also have a clear idea of how money is moved between subsidiaries and divisions of the same parent company. Intercompany payments can complicate the financial picture from one division to the next, Tejpal and FourQ Vice President of Transformation May Ma told PYMNTS last month.
