Carrier Billing Is Coming To Amazon Japan

    NTT DOCOMO is both DOCOMO’s parents firm and Japan’s largest mobile operator.

    As of today, NTT DOCOMO customers on mobile will have the option of using their mobile accounts to pay for good bought on Amazon’s marketplace, instead of inputting card information.

    To use the service, users can select “DOCOMO Mobile Payment” at checkout, and their goods will appear on their next mobile phone bill.

    DOCOMO Digital’s platforms are tied in to 200 mobile networks and 300 global and local payment methods across six continents. Its goal is to connect 5 billion mobile commerce users by the year 2020.
