Hims & Hers To Acquire Honest Health, Expand UK Foothold

Multispecialty telehealth platform Hims & Hers will acquire London-based health program Honest Health, which works in hair-loss-related products, a press release said Monday (June 14).

With the acquisition, Hims & Hers will expand its London offering.

Honest Health, formed in 2019, offers access to compounded products, including products like a topical Finasteride with Minoxidil solution when appropriate — Honest Health has an exclusive relationship with the first UK compounding pharmacy and fulfillment center.

“Honest Health has demonstrated a powerful combination of leadership, passion and innovation in digital health — at scale — that will further elevate our ability to provide the Hims & Hers personalized healthcare experience to a new segment of consumers in the United Kingdom,” said Andrew Dudum, CEO and co-founder of Hims & Hers. “Adding Honest Health to our family not only perfectly aligns with our mission but also unlocks new category and geographic opportunities to even further accelerate growth. We are thrilled to have the Honest Health team join the Hims & Hers family.”

In addition, Honest Health founder Sam Gluck said the company has “been dedicated to demolishing the obstacles standing between people and better health.”

“We are excited to join the Hims & Hers team to take this mission of healthcare access and personalization for all to the next level,” he said, according to the release.

Miley Cyrus also recently joined Hims & Hers as a creative advisor.

“In this new advisory role, I hope to work closely with the company and introduce my fans to an easier, more personalized skincare journey,” the multi-platinum selling recording artist said, according to the recent PYMNTS report.

In the new position, Cyrus will work with the Hers section of the company on prescription skin care items, including new marketing campaigns and social content.

Dudum said he found Cyrus “an incredibly outspoken and passionate businesswoman in her own right, supporting our efforts to bring personalized skincare to a larger audience,” according to the release.
