Disbursements Satisfaction

Study Finds Half of Consumers Want Instant Payments but Can't Get Them  Among the 170 million consumers who received at least one disbursement last year, nearly half would prefer to receive them instantly. The findings come from 3,633 people surveyed for PYMNTS’ new “Disbursements Satisfaction Report,” a collaboration with Ingo Money, which looks at how a lack of instant options could put businesses at risk of losing customers.
Inside the September Report
  • 67%: Share of consumers who would be encouraged to keep doing business with senders who offered instant disbursements
  • 38%: Portion of consumers who would be willing to trade personal information for access to instant disbursements
  • 68%: Share of disbursements for which consumers were able to choose method of receipt
