We found a way to convey the rankings of travel apps in an easily digestible form that, with no irony whatsoever, we call PYMNTS Provider Ranking of Travel Apps.
This is that ranking. You are there, and here at the same time. You’re a traveler too, it seems.
The Top 5
The top half of this entire ranking is going to breeze by this month because practically nothing has changed position. These are hard-won spots not easily surrendered, as we see.
Still tied for No. 1 we’ve got Booking.com and Hopper — the internet meets a bunny logo — and they’re having a booking great time, we’re sure.

Holding their reservation at No. 2 ,it’s still Airbnb.
Hotels.com clearly got a great rate on No. 3, because they’ve been there for two months, and now we can make it three.
Firm in its same spot at No. 4, it’s the Vrbo app.
Taking us out of the Top 5 on the wing, as it were, we’ve got the Skyscanner on course at No. 5.
The Top 10
Moving below, the KAYAK app takes No. 6 for itself after tying last cycle.
Down a spot to No. 7, it’s TripAdvisor, which never fails to rank.
Next we encounter a tie. Quite frequent here, we assure you. This one is for No. 8, and it pits flight booking engine Kiwi.com against the posh PriorityPass app. Both rose in the ranking.
Down two spots but by no means out, we’ve got the AllTrails hiking app at No. 9.
Taking us up and out of the Top 10 this cycle, it’s real-time flight status tracking app FlightAware, lowering its altitude by two spots but staying in the Top 10.
We say it all the time: it doesn’t matter if your rank drops, as long as you made the cut for PYMNTS Provider Ranking of Travel Apps.
