Walmart Introduces Carrier Pickup Service for Customer Returns

Walmart shoppers can return products purchased via the internet that are shipped and sold by Walmart.com without needing to leave their houses. They can now set up a time for a return through the merchant’s new Carrier Pickup by FedEx offering, which is free and will stay in place following the holiday season. The merchant is also making some changes to the returns process for customers who still want to return merchandise in retail stores while keeping its typical extended holiday return policy in place.

Dick’s Sporting Goods Partners With Instacart for Same-Day Holiday Delivery

Dick’s Sporting Goods is joining forces with Instacart for same-day delivery at 150 retail locations. The service is available in places such as Washington, D.C., Virginia and Pennsylvania. “By adding Instacart, we give our athletes another same-day option, which is fast and reliable delivery to their homes,” Joe Pietropola, senior vice president of eCommerce at Dick’s Sporting Goods, said in a press release.

Blackhawk Network Teams With Kroger on Gift Card Curbside Pickup, at-Home Activation

Kroger shoppers can now order gift cards for curbside pickup along with their grocery merchandise at 1,900 of the supermarket company’s locations across the nation. The tie-up between Kroger and Blackhawk Network utilizes the latter firm’s on-demand activation features to enable shoppers to place a gift card in their carts in addition to different items.

Nike ‘Just Does It’ on Digital-First Transition, D2C Sales and a Hot Loyalty Program
